Talladega NASCAR weather forecast: Few Friday afternoon showers

Some showers may fall Friday afternoon at Talladega Superspeedway, but what about the rest of the weekend?

A passing storm system to the north of Alabama will cause a few showers to form Friday afternoon and evening around Talladega Superspeedway. Friday afternoon doesn’t look like a washout, but a few showers could threaten and possibly hit the track during the Monster Energy final practice and the ARCA Race.

Other than the threat of rain Friday afternoon, the rest of the weekend looks great at Talladega. Lots of sunshine is expected both Saturday and Sunday, and afternoon temperatures will be in the low 70s. It will be a picture-perfect race weekend.
