Willis Racing is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Sportsman Motorcycle class at the NHRA Division 3 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series (LODRS) event taking place April 24–26, 2026, at World Wide Technology Raceway.
Longtime racers, champions, and supporters of the sport, Charles Willis Sr. and Janie Palm of Willis Racing have proudly stepped forward to elevate this year’s event by bringing the Sportsman Motorcycle competition to the LODRS stage. With 11 track championships between them, the duo has deep roots in the NHRA Carl’s 4 Wheel Drive Bracket Series at WWTR and a strong passion for giving back to the racing community.
“We’ve always believed in supporting the racers who make this sport what it is,” said Willis and Palm. “Sponsoring the Sportsman Motorcycle class is a great way to offer local riders a bigger platform and a real shot at competing for a 75th Anniversary Wally. The addition of Sportsman Motorcycle brings fresh excitement to the 2026 NHRA D3 LODRS event and opens the door for regional motorcycle racers to compete on one of drag racing’s most respected stages.
