Pittsburgh International Race Complex to Close at the End of the Year
On October 1, 2025, it was announced that Pittsburgh International Race Complex has been sold and will no longer operate as a motorsports facility. The PVGP has enjoyed an outstanding partnership with the track since launching our Historics there in 2004. It has been a valued home for the Steel Cities SCCA and a cornerstone of our event for more than two decades. We’re grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the incredible racing we’ve shared there.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to return to Schenley Park for racing action on July 18/19. With the Panther Hollow Bridge project scheduled for completion in 2026, we’re thrilled to be back on our traditional circuit soon. The enthusiasm for last year’s hillclimb was incredible, and we’re planning to make it a part of our event once again. Stay tuned for more details.
Pitt Race confirmed its closure on its Facebook page on October 1, with the above message.
