ANNOUNCING THE 2025 OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY WALL OF FAME CLASS
OHSWEKEN, Ont. (September 12, 2025) – The Ohsweken Speedway Wall of Fame committee is pleased to announce the 2025 class of inductees. Glenn Styres, Mike Evers, and Mike Thorne will be honoured as Wall of Fame Inductees at the Night of Champions banquet on Friday, November 21.
Glenn Styres is already a Wall of Fame inductee as owner and builder of Ohsweken Speedway along with the Styres family, but his accomplishments behind the steering wheel make him a great choice to be inducted as a driver too. His 27 wins in 360 Sprint Car competition rank him second all-time by a very healthy margin, and he has five track championships on his resume as well.
Mike Evers has been a constant supporter of Ohsweken’s Mini Stock division for decades. He has competed in hundreds of races in his familiar blue and yellow No. 265 machine. Mike is one of only 13 drivers with at least 10 Mini Stock wins at Ohsweken.
Mike Thorne has competed in a number of divisions at Ohsweken over the years, but he is most well-known for his Thunder Stock exploits. Consecutive track championships in 2011 and 2012 and feature wins in both Thunder Stocks and Crate Sprint Cars make Thorne an easy choice for induction.
More information about the Night of Champions banquet will be released in the coming weeks. Please visit www.ohswekenspeedway.ca for more information.
