Little O hosts biggest event of the year to kick of Northern Nationals week

September 7, 2025, OHSWEKEN, ON  – The Northern Micro Sprint Nationals will be the biggest event ever held on the Little O at Ohsweken Speedway.

Kicking off Northern Nationals week Wednesday night the event features five divisions of racing to thrill fans. The speedway’s stars of tomorrow will race on the Little O – Ohsweken Speedway’s warm up track in the pit area, and it will be featured live on GForceTV.

“The Northern Micro Sprint Nationals will offer some of the best racing we see all week long,” said Speedway General Manager Clinton Geoffrey. “We couldn’t be happier with the growth of our Micro Sprint program between rising participation numbers and the successful stream every week on GForceTV.”

The Open Micro Sprints division highlight the program. Many of Ohsweken Speedway’s most popular drivers graduated from the Open Micro Sprints most notably Dylan Westbrook. Westbrook is the winningest driver in the speedway’s history.

Also running Wednesday are Box Stock Micro Sprints, Beginner Micro Sprints, Senior Flat Karts and Junior Flat Karts offering competitive racing for drivers ranging from seven to nearly 70 years old.

This year is the fourth year for the Micro Sprint Nationals, and  momentum continues to grow the event year over year.

Also featured at the Little O are event announcers McLean Calnan and Jackson Geoffrey offering fresh commentary and youthful energy to an already energized race night and stream.

“We treat our Micro Sprint program the same way we treat Friday Night Excitement,” said Geoffrey. “The stream is always free on G-ForceTV, and we know the entertainment and action is so compelling it is drawing fans to want to see it live.

“We have even opened our rules package to allow racers from Brighton Speedway, Merrittville Speedway and Route 1 Raceway to participate. This truly will be the biggest event ever at the Little O.”

The action kicks off Wednesday night at 7 pm, and tickets are just $10 for fans of all ages. Kids under five years old get in free. The Ohsweken Speedway annual waiver is required for all attendees of Wednesday night’s event.
