We are bringing back Track Solo Sprints to Blackhawk in 2025!

“What are Solo Track Sprints?” 

• Also known as “High Speed Autocross,” Track Solo Sprints are a unique opportunity to get timed standing-start laps with no traffic!
• We will be offering 2x 30minute sessions of Solo Sprints each day.

“How does it work?”

• Participating drivers will line up in pit lane and will be sent on track one at a time, from a standing start. We will be releasing cars one at a time to ensure each driver’s laps are unimpeded.
• After crossing the finish line, each car will drive a half lap before exiting to paddock between Turns 4 and 5 (see map below), and returning to the queue in pit lane for another lap.
• Each driver will get at least three (3) solo sprint laps per session (six per day), or more if time allows.

“Who can participate?”

•  Track Solo Sprints are open to All drivers.
• The cost is $79/day and registration separate from our HPDE sessions.
• If you already registered for HPDE and want to add Track Solo Sprints, please reach out to us directly so we can update your registration.
• Registration in our HPDE Sessions is not required to participate, so this is a perfect way to get on track before the season ends without committing to a full track day!

RUN GROUPS

Novice – For drivers with less than 4 days of track experience.

Intermediate I – For drivers with 4-7 days of track experience.

Intermediate II – For drivers with 8-11 days of track experience.

Advanced Group – For drivers with 12+ days of track experience.

Run Group Total Participant Limits:

Novice: 20

Intermediate I: 25

Intermediate II: 25

Advanced: 20

Clothing:

Long pants and close-toed shoes required. In adverse events, more clothing will better protect you from minor injuries. SA 2015 or newer helmets are required for our events. If you have a non-SA helmet but believe your helmet is track-day compliant, please email us ahead of time to verify.

Passengers:

Only Intermediate and Advanced groups are allowed to have passengers. All passengers must be 14 years old or older and all participants are required to sign the participant waiver. 

Lap timing may be provided depending on equipment availability. You will be sent an email update if we secure timing for this event. Otherwise, feel free to use one of the many mobile lap timer apps!
