SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2025 – Volunteer Speedway – Race Information

CLASSES: Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Modified Series ($2,000-to-win), Sportsman Late Model ($1,500-to-win), Street Stock ($600-to-win), Classic ($600-to-win), Front Wheel Drive ($500-to-win) and Juice Box.

ADMISSION: Adult grandstand $15, with kids 15-and-under free. … Adult pit $35, with kids 5-and-under free. 

☆☆☆ First 100 paying adults in front straightaway grandstands will receive a free hotdog from the concession stand courtesy of Tony Jones Pest Control. ☆☆☆

GATES: Pits 3 p.m. and Grandstands 4 p.m. 

Drivers meeting 6:30 p.m. Hot laps 7 p.m., followed by qualifying and racing.  

SPORTSMAN LATE MODEL RULES

Tires

1. Open Front

2. Right Rear: American Racer Pro 4 or 56 … Hoosier Crate 55 or 1600.

3. Left Rear: American Racer Spec 48 … Hoosier Crate 21, 1350 or 2.

Weight

1. Crate Late Model – 2,350 lbs.

2. Sportsman Late Model – 2,400 lbs. 

3. 1-pound per lap burnoff.

4. In a Sportsman race (both Sportsman and Crate engines permitted), non-adjustable shocks only allowed.
