Photo Review: 2025 PDRA Virginia
The Red Line Oil PDRA series made its first of two stops of the year at Virginia Motorsports Park for the Travis Mills Foundation Mid-Atlantic Showdown presented by Red Line T-Shirt Club. A couple of newcomers made a big noise, but at the end of the day, familiar faces ruled.
Marcus Butner took home the Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous title over Amber Denton, 3.63 to 3.77.
Kurt Steding used a .007 light and a 3.61 to beat defending world champ Jason Harris in WS Construction Pro Boost.
Defending Liberty Gears world champion Ethan Steding joined his dad in the winners circle by taking out Blake Denton in the final 3.94 – 3.95.
In his pro street debut, Fletcher Cox reached the semi-finals and ran a best of 3.95/191.76.
In his first PDRA race, California’s Ed Marx fouled away a 3.63 against Harris in the pro boost semi-finals.
Jeremy Huffman defeated Steven Boone with a 4.08 for the AED Competition Extreme Pro Stock win.
Kyle Salminen’s Cavalier took home the PTC Pro 632 title when Jeff Melnick had problems.
Austin Vincent ruled Super Street. He was the #1 qualifier at 4.58 and beat Carson Perry in the final.
MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman World Champ Glenn Butcher continues to dominate. Event win at 3.78 and low qualifier at 3.77.
Linzie Coleman used a .036 light to outrun Alan O’Brien for the Laris Insurance Elite Top Dragster crown.
Keith Castle took the MagnaFuel Top Sportsman 48 trophy to Ohio when Jeff Melnick broke out.
Nick Meloni cut a .003 light in reaction to Anthony Bertozi going red for the Laris Insurance Top Dragster 48 title.
