Volunteer Speedway releases 2025 racing schedule

BULLS GAP, Tenn. – Two big Super Late Model races highlight the 2025 Volunteer Speedway racing schedule released by track operators Vic Hill and wife Christa.

The Scott Sexton Memorial is being brought back to where it originally began in 2013, and was held at “The Gap” through 2018. The Spring Thaw will now become the Scott Sexton Memorial “Spring Thaw,” and is scheduled Saturday, April 12 during Bristol Motor Speedway NASCAR weekend. … The second annual Scott Bloomquist Memorial “Scorcher” is slated for Thursday, Sept. 11 during NASCAR’s fall visit to Bristol.

Weekly shows will feature Sportsman/Crate Late Model (classes combined), UMP Open Wheel Modified, Street Stock and Front Wheel Drive.

Track operator Vic Hill is also looking at possible additional race dates in 2025.
