On July 26-28, prepare for an adrenaline-fueled weekend as the XDA’s 24th annual WPGC Bike Fest roars into Maryland International Raceway (MIR). Returning to Mechanicsville, Maryland, this iconic event promises to be bigger and better than ever.

This year’s WPGC Bike Fest will see over 600 Professional, Sportsman, and Grudge racers battle it out for a staggering $90,000 in cash prizes. But it’s not just about the drag races; the WPGC Bike Fest is an experience for all, packed with thrilling activities and entertainment for everyone.

Bike Show & Sound Competition

Team Money Cycles is back with their “Speed and Sound” Tour on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a Sound Competition and Custom Bike Show. Prepare to be amazed by the wildest custom bikes you’ve ever seen!

Live Bands

The WPGC stage will be alive with music on Sunday, featuring a mix of DJs and live performances. WPGC’s very own DJ Flexx will be hosting, ensuring the beats keep rolling all day long.

Beer Garden with Bikini Bartenders

Enjoy a refreshing break at the popular beer garden, returning with ice-cold beer served by our Bikini Bartenders. Conveniently located close to the grandstands, they’ll have your drinks ready without the long wait.

Bikini Contest

This grand finale event is always a crowd favorite, featuring stunning contestants and electrifying energy. The Thrilling Orient Express Racing Pro Street

The Orient Express Pro Street class is where the real action happens, featuring motorcycles with an astonishing 650+ horsepower. These aren’t just any bikes; they’re the world’s most formidable street tire motorcycles, and XDA brings them all together for an electrifying competition.

These turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous-injected beasts scream down the quarter-mile track at mind-blowing speeds exceeding 230 mph, completing the run in a blistering 6 seconds. The sheer power and speed on display are enough to leave any spectator in awe.

As the season progresses, with only three events remaining, the racers’ stakes are higher than ever. Each competitor has one primary objective: climb the points ladder and secure a spot in the top ten by the season’s end. Achieving this brings prestige and earns an invitation to the Haltech World Cup Finals presented by Wiseco Import vs. Domestic event in November at MIR.

This prestigious event attracts over 50,000 fans, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The highlight for Pro Street competitors will be a special $5,000-to-win Pro Street Shootout, sponsored by Platinum General Services. DME Racing Real Street: The Unforgiving 7-Second Class

The DME Racing 7-second, 190mph Real Street class is the epitome of high-stakes racing, designed for street-legal sportbikes with limited modifications and a hand clutch. This class tests the limits of both the machines and their riders, making every race a thrilling spectacle.

David Fondon has established a commanding presence with an incredible 172-point lead, creating a significant gap that has left the rest of the field scrambling to catch up in the final three events of the year. Fondon’s performance last month set a new class ET record of 7.420, raising the bar for his competitors. The big question is: Will he be able to replicate that performance in the July heat?

The 2023 class champion, Rickey Gadson, currently sits in 6th place in the points standings, underscoring the unforgiving nature of this class. Known for his strategic prowess, Gadson is one to watch as he aims to make a comeback in the remaining events. Additionally, the 2022 class champion, David Stewart, holds the number two spot in points, adding another layer of excitement to the competition. This class maintains strict modification rules to ensure a level playing field, including stock wheelbase, stock motor, MR12 spec fuel, no air shifters, and no dataloggers. Here, the best clutch hand of the weekend will dominate the win lights.

This class is all about pure riding talent. Riders cannot rely on override buttons or advanced electronics; they either have the skills or they go home early. Spectators will witness stock street bikes attempt to make it down the quarter-mile without the front wheel popping up, showcasing the true essence of motorcycle racing.
