Grand Prix Garden Party
Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
Thursday, August 1
6:30 – 10:30 PM

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix has planted the seeds for a fabulous new event in Schenley Park at Phipps. This garden soiree will feature a variety of cars, as every PVGP event does. You can expect a select representation of MINI, our Marque of the Year, and our Microcar spotlight. We are pleased to feature cars from the Lane Motor Museum, and our exhibit will focus on the small and unusual cars within the Conservatory. There will also be a special display of select automobiles on Schenley Drive and in front of Phipps. Details

The party features passed hors d’oeuvres, palate-pleasing food stations, wine, beer, and bar cocktails throughout one of the nation’s oldest and largest Victorian greenhouses. It promises to be an elegant evening in the Tropical Forest, the Special Events Center and the Outdoor Garden.

Eric Zagrocki and Susan Gera have chaired our Passport event since its debut in 2017. They have planted the seeds for this colorful new event. Susan Gera states, “Eric and I are excited to bring this unique party to PVGP race week. Guests will have the chance to explore the beauty and wonders of nature provided by Phipps, along with a car show spotlighting vintage, micro and exotic automobiles. Expect the upscale party atmosphere of prior Passport to Elegance events in a fabulous new setting.”
