Monday Paddock Notes From Barcelona: Part 1
Yesterday evening saw the (almost) full entry grid shot put together – you’ll see the higher level official shots later.
There is very extensive running for the first of two official test days today with 11 hours of running.
To add to the ‘whole lot of new’ we showed in yesterday’s brief canter through the paddock here’s some more!
Team WRT are another very significant addition to the ELMS grid this year:
MV2S Racing step up to the ELMS for the first time in 2021 – their Ligier looks very well presented
And whilst we have to wait until Wednesday to see the Michelin Le Mans Cup cars on track, unloading day yesterday gave us an early look at the #31 AF Corse Ligier that Rui Aguas and Kriton Lendoudis will campaign.
There is much relief at Inter-Europol after their last minute securing of a replacement crew for the #14 Ligier – Team Manager Sascha Fassbender explaining that the week before Barcelona had been rather busier than he had hoped for!
