Frikadelli Racing Announce Full Pro Two Car Porsche Effort For Nurburgring 24 Hours

0 4

Frikadelli Racing’s 2021 Nurburgring 24 Hours effort is set to see a pair of all-Pro crewed Porsche 911 GT3 Rs fielded with a somewhat surprising pair of line-ups.

The team’s #30 car will see Porsche’s Matt Campbell and Matthieu Jaminet together with Earl Bamber (allegedly not a Porsche factory man for 2021 but still clearly a very close friend to the family!) and ex Porsche man and now Corvette factory driver Nick Tandy.

The sister #31 car will see Fred Makowiecki joined by ex-factory driver Patrick Pilet and ex Porsche Professional Dennis Olsen, the trio joined by current Aston Martin GT factory driver Maxime Martin.

The latter is particularly surprising as industry sources have long suggested that the N24 is a target for Aston Martin in their re-focused programme with customer GT racing.  Allowing Martin, an experienced factory driver, to undertake the race suggesting that there will not be high-level competition from the UK-based company or their customers in 2021.
