NASCAR: 2020 Auto Club 400 starting lineup
Jimmie Johnson’s final season in the NASCAR Cup Series will continue with his home race at Fontana, California, on Sunday at Auto Club Speedway, and it will be a special day for the Johnson family, as Johnson’s daughters will wave the green flag from the flagger’s stand to begin the race.
Johnson narrowly missed out on winning pole position on Saturday, qualifying behind Clint Bowyer by seven-thousandths of a second. Johnson has won six career races at Auto Club Speedway, including his first career Cup Series win as a rookie in 2002. Johnson last won at the track in 2016, and he’ll start the race 15 positions ahead of Kyle Busch, the 2019 Auto Club 400 winner.
Here’s the starting lineup for Sunday’s race.
