Iconic Angell Park Speedway Roars into 2020
Belleville, IL (January 17, 2020) Keeping with tradition the “Midwest’s Finest Clay Oval” in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin is set for a summer of speed with 12 scheduled dates at Fireman’s Angell Park Speedway spanning from mid-May until early-September.
All the thrilling action that Angell Park Speedway is accustomed to will be back in 2020 with showings from multiple series including the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association Outlaw Sprint Series, IRA AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLess Sprint Series, Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Auto Racing Association, Performance Open Wheel Racing Incorporated National Midget League, Midwest Sprint Association 360 Winged Sprints, Vintage Racing of Illinois, Discount Shop Towels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour, as well as the Wisconsin Dirt Legends.
Sunday, May 31st the Sprint Spectacular is back by popular demand with the Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association Outlaw Sprint Series taking on the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions in what could be the show of the year with great support from the BMARA/POWRi Regional Midgets.
Fourth of July Weekend will see the only multi-day event of the season with The Pepsi Nationals July 4th and 5th. The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League, BMARA Midgets, and the Midwest Sprint Association 360 Winged Sprints all come to town for both nights of edge of your seat racing, Budweiser Fireworks Show to follow the features Sunday.
With various classes scheduled, like the Discount Shop Towels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour on Sunday, August 16th, to entertain fans throughout the year; 2020 will wrap up Sunday, September 6th with the Kevin Doty Classic featuring the IRA AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLess Sprint Series and BMARA/POWRi Regional Midgets.
