Amendments to the 2016 F-8 Rules effective Jan 1, 2017
- 25lb must be bolted to the front stub on fabricated stub cars. Fabricated stubs must maintain same geometry as original.
- No penalty for fabricated rear clip.
- Any year body is permitted. No lightweight or carbon fiber components. Body must resemble factory body (no dirt car wedge bodies). Mixing year and make of body parts is allowed.
- Full factory firewall must be used.
- Aluminum water pump is allowed.
- 602 crate engine 3100 lbs. 604 crate engine 3200 lbs
