5 inches of rain was a welcome relief from the recent drought for the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation

Wheat, oats, chicory, and Non-typical Outdoors After Frost have all been planted and yesterday’s rain was a great relief from the latest dry spell.  Over the past several days, Ward Burton has been installing fire lines in preparation for a prescribed burn.  The food plots should be in good shape for the upcoming season.  Another project for the week has been marking property lines.
