AMERICAN MOTORCYCLIST ASSOCIATION AND MID-OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE ISSUE STATEMENT ON PASSING OF MOTORCYCLE COMPETITOR MIKE WELLS

LEXINGTON, Ohio (July 7, 2018) — The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing extend their deepest condolences to the family, friends and fellow competitors of Mike Wells.

Wells, age 67, of Boyton Beach, Fla., a lifetime AMA member and long-time WERA competitor, passed away earlier today.
