ACCAC selects Apaches for co-players of the week

The ACCAC selects two Apaches as co-players of the week.

Men’s Basketball

Division I – Co-Player of the Week – Brian Rios

Brian Rios, a sophomore from El Paso, Texas, averaged 19.7 points per game as the Apaches won twice. Had a .522 (12-23) field goal percentage and hit 12-21 three-pointers (.571).

Division I – Co-Player of the Week – Stephen Byard 

Stephen Byard, a freshman from Atlantic City, N.J., averaged 19.0 points, shooting an outstanding .667 (14-21). He also grabbed 15 total rebounds and had two steals.

“We are very proud of Rios and Byard as they had a good week,” Head Coach Carrillo said. “As a team, we had a terrific week!”
