Athletics finally end Mariners' head-to-head hex

Jed Lowrie and Elvis Andrus hit home runs as the Oakland Athletics won 7-5 at Seattle on Tuesday night, snapping a 13-game losing streak to the Mariners dating to last season.

Rookie Julio Rodriguez homered for the second consecutive night, but the Mariners lost for the fifth time in their past six games overall.

Oakland reliever Sam Moll (2-0) got the victory after throwing 1 1/3 scoreless innings. Dany Jimenez worked
