CHICAGO – Athletics Director Allison Kern has been named Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics for California State East Bay in Hayward, California, the University announced Tuesday. Kern has served as Athletics Director for the Cougars' 19 varsity teams and nearly 500 student-athletes since July 2019. During her time at SXU, the Cougars have secured three regular season conference championships, three conference tournament championships and three Conference Coach of the Year Awards.
