[WAU] WASHINGTON ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS SUSPENDS SPRING PROGRAMS

Takoma Park, Md. - The Washington Adventist University Athletics Department issued a statement regarding sports programs. "Due to the recent events surrounding the COVID-19 virus, Washington Adventist University Athletics has suspended all organized training, practices, and games for the 2020 spring season. The safety of our student-athletes is of the utmost importance, and we will continue to watch the developments and stay flexible. We will work with the NAIA in providing information as far as eligibility for the student-athletes who are effected.
