[Baseball] Phil Butler Named Head Baseball Coach at Shawnee State

Portsmouth, Ohio – Shawnee State athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Phil Butler as head baseball coach for the 2018-19 season.

Butler has spent the last eight seasons as an assistant coach at Shawnee State, with the past four season as SSU's top assistant and pitching coach under Chris Moore. Butler also spent four seasons as an assistant under former head coach Ted Tom, beginning his tenure at SSU in 2011-12.
