[Softball] Faulkner wins three games on Tuesday and ends Campbellsville's season in Opening Round

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Needing to win three games on Tuesday to keep their season alive, the two-seeded Faulkner University Eagles upset the No. 1-seed Campbellsville in the NAIA Opening Round Championship games. 
 
Faulkner defeated Madonna University in the elimination finals this morning before handing the fourth-ranked Lady Tigers a pair of 2-0 and 2-1 losses. Campbellsville's season ends with a 47-10 record, while the Eagles improve to 48-15 and will advance to the NAIA World Series for the first time in program history.
