[Women's Tennis] Cumberland Women's Tennis fall 5-4 to Middle Georgia

LEBANON, Tenn. – Ainhoa Garijo Garrido and Jasmine Shankar combined for a doubles victory and each won singles matches, but 14th-ranked Middle Georgia State posted two doubles wins and won three consecutive singles outings in a 5-4 triumph over No. 22 Cumberland on Tuesday at the 38th Annual NAIA Women's Tennis Championships in Mobile, Ala.

Cumberland (13-11) ends its season with the defeat but put up a great fight against the Knights (11-6), who defeated the Phoenix, 5-1, earlier in the season.
