[Baseball] Point Shuts Out Truett-McConnell, 1-0, in First Round of AAC Baseball Tournament

KINGSPORT, TN: Point University (30-22), the number four seed, scored the only run of its 1-0 Appalachian Athletics Conference Tournament first-round victory in the eighth inning against Truett-McConnell University (23-24), Wednesday, May 2, in Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tenn.  The victory was Point's 30th of the season and gives the Skyhawks three consecutive 30-win seasons and four 30-win seasons in the last five years.
