[Volleyball] Mott's Speer named Division II volleyball player of the week

Mott Community College sophomore middle blocker Kennedy Speer has been named the NJCAA Division II Player of the Week. Speer, who played five matches and 19 sets last week had 43 kills and 11 errors in 100 attempts for a .320 hitting percentage. She had two assists, eight service aces and 17 digs. Kennedy also had two blocks and 32 block assists as the Bears went 4-1 on the week. She help led the Bears to the MCCAA Eastern Conference co-championship. The Bears, 26-5 on the season, will compete for the MCCAA Volleyball Championship this Saturday.
