Noida based para-athlete Varun Singh Bhati: Had been working hard for Arjuna Award for four years

Noida based para-athlete Varun Singh Bhati was conferred with the Arjuna Award on Tuesday. The athlete was rewarded for his bronze medal wins in both – Rio Paralympics last year and the World Para Athletics Championships last month. Talking about what the honour means to him, Varun says, “I had been working hard for the past four years for this award. Receiving Arjuna Award means that you have done something substantial and I am happy to receive it.”
