[General] Softball, Men's Basketball named Scholar Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two athletic programs representing the University of Rio Grande have earned the distinction for Scholar-Teams for the 2016-17 academic year from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
The RedStorm softball and men's basketball teams were recognized after earning team grade point averages of 3.46 and 3.03, respectively.
