[Women's Basketball] Mitchell Takes Reigns of LSU Women’s Basketball Program

The La Sierra athletics department announced that Kevin Mitchell has agreed to take over the women's basketball program.  Mitchell spent two seasons as an assistant coach/associate head coach with the men's basketball program (2014-15 and 2016-17).  He takes over for Brianne Carroll, who has decided to step aside after two seasons to focus her attention on growing the LSU clubs and leagues program.
