Re: Why Birmingham's Commonwealth Games 2022 bid is better than Liverpool's

Birmingham does have the infrastructure and expertise in holding major events. Yes some of the venues may need a bit of updating but I know from past history that the AAA(UK Athletics) have always liked holding athletic events in the city because of the professional way BCC manage them. Our weak spot is the lack of a decent competition swimming pool.
But I bet the London media will continue to slag and/or ridicule Birmingham as they have always done in the past!!
