Seven to compete at NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.– Seven Arkansas swimmers will close out the season at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship in Knoxville this week.

The Razorbacks had six swimmers and an alternate qualify for individual events, along with the 200- and 400-freestyle relay and 200- and 400-medley relay teams.

Last year, the Razorbacks came in 28th, their fourth consecutive year with a top-30 finish.

The NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship begins on Wednesday, March 15 and runs through Saturday, March 18.

NCAA Entries:

  • Andrea Sansores: 50-freestyle, 100-butterfly, and 100-backstroke
  • Alessia Ferraguti: 100 and 200-breaststroke
  • Bella Cothern: Relay alternate
  • Betsy Wizard: 200-butterfly
  • Kobie Melton: 100-backstroke
  • Luciana Thomas: 200-butterfly
  • Vanessa Herrmann: 100-breaststoke
