Indian women's archery team crashes out in quarterfinals
India's women's archery team was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Paris Olympics, losing 0-6 to the Netherlands. Despite 18-year-old Bhajan Kaur's impressive 56 out of 60 points, seasoned archers Deepika Kumari and Ankita Bhakat underperformed, failing to score over 50 in two of three sets. Deepika, a four-time Olympian, scored just 48, while Ankita managed 46. Coach Purnima Mahato cited difficulty in judging strong winds. The focus now shifts to the Indian men's team.
