Calling All GAC Members

We request the pleasure of your company (plus one guest) at a special event to mark the 70th anniversary of Guildford Archery Club and to celebrate our receiving the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Smart/Casual
No high heeled shoes in the Bowls Club please

What’s going on?
The event starts at 2.15pm with a fun shoot (with all equipment provided) and displays in the clubhouse of the club’s history and the efforts of our amazing volunteers over the last 70 years.

At 3.00pm there will be a group photo with everyone present plus our special guests!

After the photo, we will move to the Bowls Club so we can be all seated and settled for the party itself to start at 3:15pm. In attendance will be the HM Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, the Mayor of Guildford, senior representatives from AGB, previous club executives and other dignitaries – and hopefully you!

There will be an afternoon tea/finger buffet and the bar will be open. The proceedings will include a formal presentation of the Kings Award for Voluntary Service by HM Lord Lieutenant, a loyal toast and other entertainment, finishing at 5.00pm.

Everyone is welcome!
This event is a celebration of the club we all love, and is open to EVERY member, but numbers are limited so please indicate your attendance on the usual GAC Sign Up under the ‘KAVs and 70th Anniversary Party‘ tab as soon as you can!
