Join us at our Board meeting April 18

We are calling a meeting of the Board and members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 6:30pm in the Arbutus Room at Saanich Commonwealth Place.

JOP tournament and club shoot on April 7

On Sunday, April 7 we will be hosting the JOP Indoor Championships for our younger members at Saanich Commonwealth, starting at 1pm. If any JOP members would like to participate, please email Helena so she can register you for the tournament. This will be a 60 arrow shoot (20 ends of 3 arrows each as opposed to the usual 10 ends), so will take longer than an hour.

Note about the regular club shoot on April 7
Depending on how many JOP members register for the tournament, we may need the whole gym, but more likely the northern half. Regardless, the JOP tournament will run past 2pm. If we can make do with half the gym, the adults can start shooting at 2pm as usual on the south end. As soon as we are finished we will open the rest of the gym for all.

In related news, all 7 of our Juniors who participated in the JOP mail match placed either 1st, 2nd or third! A big congrats to all – great shooting!
