Indoor Shooting for 2022/2023

As we move into Autumn, we are losing the evening light and the indoor season is just around the corner, so it’s time for a bit of change to our shooting patterns.

The range at Normandy will of course continue to be open through the autumn and winter, with the regular Saturday Junior and Sunday ‘Target’ sessions carrying on as usual.

The Wednesday evening Novice sessions and Friday evening Skills Development Group will finish this week (it’s now getting dark by 7.00pm). For those members who would like to receive coaching advice, there will be a new regular Novice/Skills Development Group session on Saturdays between 1.00 and 3.00 – please book onto the sessions via the Sign Up Genius as usual.

For those members who prefer to shoot in the warm and dry, we are putting on the same sessions as last year at Ash Manor, starting on Tuesday 18th October:
Tuesday:
8.00pm to 10.00pm – Small Hall for general practice over 18metres
Sunday:
Session 1: 1.30pm to 3.30pm – Large Hall – general practice session
Session 2: 3.30pm to 6.00 – Large Hall – shooting a specified round

For safety, numbers are limited to 16 on the Tuesday, and 36 on the Sunday sessions. Because the numbers are limited, in order to avoid disappointment, please can everyone use the Sign Up Genius booking form to confirm when they want to shoot!

As with last year, the committee has decided that the club will subsidise these sessions so that they are FREE to all members!
