End-of-summer 2022 Updates
55+ BC Games Sep 13-17 – help still needed!
The 2022 55+ BC Games September 13-17 are coming up fast and we need a commitment of people who can attend the setup (2PM Tuesday September 13th) and take down (1PM Saturday 24 September to load equipment) AND then to put the equipment away and do an inventory at the containers 3989 Metchosin Road (10AM Sunday September 18th). Reminder: Annual General Meeting – Sep 22nd
We encourage all our members to attend our AGM on September 22nd at 7pm in the Kinsmen Fieldhouse at Westshore Parks and Recreation Centre (aka Juan De Fuca Rec Centre), 1767 Island Highway, Colwood.
This will also be a social event, so we’ll have light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages and will talk about next year’s Canadian Championships and the future of the club.There will be SWAG! We need everyone’s feedback/input, so please come and hear what we’re all about and what we can do for archery in Victoria in the future. If anyone would like to step forward as a member of the Board to help lead the club, please email or text/call Al (250) 727-8351.
The meeting venue is located by the lower fields, above the golf course pro shop – marked #5 on this map.
Indoor shoots paused: Saanich Commonwealth Centre closed Sep 5 to Oct 10
Just another reminder that Commonwealth Centre will be closing for maintenance & upgrades Sep 5 – Oct 10, so no indoor shoot this week (Sep 1st and 4th) and no shoots until at least October 13th. All these dates are in our calendar, which will be updated as soon as we confirm our dates in mid-September, probably every Sun/Thurs from Oct 13.

A note for our young archers in the Junior Olympic Program: If anyone wants to do a bit of shooting during the Commonwealth closure, please contact Helena at 250-588-0673.
