You don’t see a coach for ages, and then 4 come along all at once!

Last Sunday there was a day of AGB coach assessments going on at GAC. This was the final step to becoming a Level 1 coach for a dozen candidates including 4 GAC members – all of whom had waited for almost 18 months since their original assessments were cancelled as the first Covid lockdown came into effect, and the second attempt fell foul of the subsequent lockdown.

It is a credit to all of the candidates that after such a long gap between finishing their course and being assessed, they all passed!

Congratulations to GAC members, Lauren Levy, Colin Levy , Stuart Edwards and Andy Cawte on becoming qualified coaches and joining the club coaching team.

Also a big thank you to Val Smith who organised and led the course.
