Looking forward to scoring a proper round? – why not try a National this weekend?

0 15

If you have signed up to shoot on either this coming Friday, Saturday or Sunday (7th, 8th and 9th May) would you consider shooting (and scoring) a National round in your session?

ArcheryGB have organised a ‘virtual’ inter club competition as part of their ‘Big Reopening’ campaign this weekend, and GAC have entered a couple of teams of 4 into it.

It’s very simple to take part, and you can shoot and score your own round, and then email a photo of your score sheet to our Records Officer Stuart: records@guildfordarcheryclub.co.uk, and he will put them all together and submit them on Monday.

Score sheets can be printed from the attached pdf plus I will try and print some out to leave in the Field Captain’s box, or you could use one of our regular GAC score sheets from the racks by the door.

All seniors (over 18) should shoot a National (4doz@60yds and 2doz@50yds) – and this is the same for all bow styles.

Juniors should shoot the appropriate Short, Junior or Short Junior National (distance details are on the attached pdf)

I hope that you will consider having a go at this – as I say, it is very low key, and the emphasis is definitely on taking part and enjoying a small return to scoring and competition!

Any questions, please email me: chair@guildfordarcheryclub.co.uk

Best Regards

Simon
