Do we shoot better in the cold?

Sunday’s results suggest we might – and no, I’m not talking about the Frostbite round which took place in the morning outdoors.

The afternoon session at Ash Manor saw 16 archers shoot a Portsmouth round, and the lack of heating didn’t seem to put anyone off their game.

Instead we rattled off the round in double quick time (though yours truly was conscious of once again being the one setting the pace – sorry!), and no fewer than 7 recorded personal bests.
