Please put your hand up to help with beginners courses!

GAC is a huge club with over 200 members, who all benefit from the fabulous ground and facilities at Normandy, and yet it sometimes seems to be the same small number of people that volunteer to help with events that either raise valuable funds or introduce new people to our great sport – I know that there are many willing helpers out there – could you be one of them?.

BEGINNERS COURSE 1 – March 30th, April 6th and 13th
We have our 1st outdoor beginners course of the year starting on the 30th March and running for 3, 2-hour sessions, and John Davis who runs the course is looking for instructors.

You do not need to be an experienced or expert archer to help with courses. Remember that it is almost certainly one of these courses that introduced you to Archery, and this is your chance to give something back.
 
The course is set up and run by a GAC Coach, and you will receive all of the guidance and support you need in order to be able to introduce people to archery and help them through those first tentative steps.

Assembly is at 9.30am, with the session running from 10am-12noon. This is a VITAL part of what out Club does to engage with the wider community, and it needs YOU to volunteer to help!
