[Archery] Cumberlands Archery wins third USIAC 3D National Championship

Foley, AL – After jumping out to a big lead after day one of the 2018 USIAC 3D National Championships, the UC Archery team came out and took care of business on day two in team rounds, garnering three more medals including a gold and two bronzes on their way to winning the program's third USIAC 3D National Title.
 
The Patriots had the one seed in both the men and women's compound team brackets while holding the two seed in both the men and women's bowhunter team brackets. In the women's compound division, UC would send one of its most dominant trios in Brooke Miller, Samantha Rayburn, and Tara Currie out to compete. Securing a first round bye, the trio would defeat Emmanuel in the semifinals 90-78 before defeating the Bulldogs of Union College in the finals by a score of 90-86 to secure the team gold.
