BWO Day 5 Rained off
The weather is a fickle mistress!
Having been treated to excellent racing conditions on the 14th, with no rain in the valley, the competitors went to bed with high hopes of the same or better on the 15th.
Alas, their hopes were not realised, and their enthusiasm dampened as they pulled back their curtains to survey a blanket of low cloud.
Our meet director, Miguel Zarate, and his team delayed the departure for an hour, another half hour and another half hour before finally cancelling the day just after 10:00.

The launch was in cloud all morning except for a couple of short windows before it started to rain
The competitors agreed with the MD’s decision to cancel the day as it would have been impossible to run a safe and sporting task in those conditions.
