Ash and Jarrad’s special day

How would you feel if you birthday skydive turned into a skydive marriage proposal?

That is exactly what happened to Ash on July 18.

It started of normal enough, check in, the usual banter about perfectly alright aeroplanes. Ash and Jarrad met their tandem masters, and unbeknown to Ash safe places were found for the ring.

We have to give it to Jarrad he could not have picked a better day. Blue sky all around.

Now we think a skydive is pretty hard to beat, but have to admit that finishing off your free fall and subsequent flight under canopy above the Coffs Harbour marina with finding a huge “WILL YOU MARRY ME’’ written in the sand below (prepared earlier in the day by the crew at Coffs Skydivers) would do the job.

Next to that writing was Jarrad – a quick sprint, ring in hand, eloquent drop to the knee – we think its the perfect surprise skydive marriage proposal.
