Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas, based on data available at 0700.

Pressure transitioning with mixed skies.  Clear early, clouding late in the day with possible front arrival. 

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable becoming NW to 19 km/hr as day progresses. Early West inflow to 10 km/hr increasing to 25 km/hr late in the day. Intermediate peak lapse rate -2.5C/1000ft.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable becoming NW to 9 km/hr as day progresses. Valley winds light and variable and becoming Northwest to 15 km/hr. Advanced peak lapse rate -3.0C/1000ft. 

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.8 C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate.  Great day for Blanchard with P2 conditions 0900-1300 then P4 advanced conditions 1300-1900. Paragliding prospects 90%.  

2. Paragliding Seattle: -3.0C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Wait for early cloud to lift at Tiger.  P2 pilots 1000-1300 and 1800-2000 with P4 advanced conditions 1300-1800. Chances to paraglide 70%.

3. Paragliding Vancouver: -2.5C/1000ft intermediate peak lapse rate.  Watch for possbile increasing NW crosswind by mid afternoon. Grouse for GMFT P4 advanced pilots early with paragliding chances 70% early , 40% late.  

4. Paragliding Pemberton: -2.8C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Marginal day for flying Pemberton with risk of thunderstorm and arrival of Whistler express strong south wind mid to late afternoon.  Mt. McKenzie with P2 conditions early 0900-1300 then watch for increasing P4 conditions 1300-1500 with possible over development and Whistler Express wind thereafter. 60% chances to paraglide early, 30% mid day. Flying mid to late afternoon not recommended due to high instability 60% POP, risk of thunderstorm and high wind. 

5. Paragliding Chilliwack: -3.2C/1000ft XXX advanced peak lapse rate. Wait for morning katabatic wind to subside at Woodside.  Possible narrow window to fly for advanced P4 pilots 1100 - 1300 then watch for increasing NW wind aloft early arrival of strong sea breeze and blown out conditions and strong shredded thermals. Bridal for advanced P4 pilots 1100 - 1500 then watch for increasing west wind and rough conditions. 50% chances to paraglide in narrow early window, 30% and decreasing chances as day progresses.  Watch for possible OD late in day.  

6. Paragliding Whistler: -3.0C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Strong day with light and variable winds aloft early and then increasing winds and lapse rate making for rough conditions and possible over development and thunderstorm. Whistler Team P4 pilots 1000-1400 then watch for un flyable conditions. Chances to paraglide early 50%, paragliding beyond mid day not recommended due to increasing instability.
