URW: First internal Singles Tournament 2023
With a keen focus on promoting inclusivity and fair play and an atmosphere of excitement and friendly competition, URW hosted the first internal Singles Tournament at 20. June!
Organizers of the tournament ensured that players of all skill levels had the opportunity to participate and showcase their abilities. The matches were intense and closely contested, demonstrating the high level of competitiveness among the players.
There were 3 categories took place, Men Single A, Men Single B and Women Single B. In the end 3 players showed the strongest combinations of skills and strategies, taking the 1st places of all 3 categories. Big congratulations to Markus (MS A), Christian (MS B) and Katherine (WS B)!!
As the tournament concluded, players and spectators left with a sense of fulfillment, camaraderie, and a shared love for the game. URW looks forward to organizing more exciting tournaments in the future, fostering a thriving badminton community and inspiring even greater achievements in the sport!
